motorcycle ADAS target
(ASEAN NCAP)
The 4activeMC-AMT is the outcome of an ASEAN NCAP project, under the lead of
UTAC. It was specifically developed for the Asian market, through data provided
by the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS). Its main goal was the
production of a crash-able target with the same detection characteristics as a real
representative of an ASEAN market motorcycle.
This dummy is equivalent to a higher motorized motor scooter featuring 125ccm
and visually correlates to the common Asian motor scooters. The 4activeMC-AMT
comes as a “Micro-Doppler” version, to ensure a life-like 3D-360°-RCS distribution.
Moreover, it has a realistic near-infrared-, ultrasonic-, and LiDAR behaviour.
