With our 1-year-old static child dummy you can simulate potentially dangerous or even fatal situations. Larger vehicles like pick-up trucks and SUV’s have bigger blind zones than normal-sized vehicles, making it more difficult for drivers to see smaller objects, like a playing toddler. Position our child-dummy in a crawling position onto your test track and simulate a parking maneuver with a car. With the help of this simulation, you will be able to train the car’s control sensors and algorithm to detect a small child when reversing and apply emergency breaking if needed. This standardized static dummy works for Radar, LiDAR, camera systems (both 2D and 3D), ultrasound, and thanks to the heated option; near- and far infrared testing.
