The 4activeFB-small is a more compact version of our robotic platform product line, which is designed according to Euro NCAP and ISO-specifications. Thanks to its special design, it is not only ultra-fl at, but also a very useful all-rounder. With a top speed of 80 kph, every single one of our active safety dummies can be run on this platform. The quick-change batteries and the dual GPS antenna system allow fast initialization and therefore high testing output. As the 4activeFB-small is almost invisible for radar systems, it is highly suitable for VRU‘s with a low radar cross section. Nevertheless, you can also attach bigger and heavier targets, like our MC-EMT or the C2-target. This platform can be overrun by 40 metric tons and can also be operated in bad weather. Moreover, our FB-small is compatible with three different connecting plates that can be changed within seconds, thanks to two bayonet locks. This design and the extremely low profi le within the dummy area also allows wheels of certain targets
to touch the ground, to ensure a realistic “Micro Doppler” effect.
