4activeFB-large
approved robotic platform for C2C testing
(Euro NCAP)
The 4activeFB-large was the first robotic, self-driving platform developed by 4activeSystems. It is our biggest, most powerful platform, that was engineered for the Euro NCAP 2020 Advance Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) tests. In combination with our 4activeC2-target, it was our first platform, that was developed and approved for these tests.
Thanks to its ingenious construction, it is not only the flattest, but also the lightest GVT-carrier on the market, with an ultra-low radar cross section. The extreme low profile 60 mm / 80 mm (wheels region) thickness, also ensures safe testing, even when ADAS systems do not react and the platform is overrun with high relative speeds by the VUT. Rounded edges ensure that there are no tire damages on your test vehicles.
With peak velocity of 100 kph and the ability to be overrun by 40 metric tons, it fulfills all relevant norms and standards. This platform enables quick and easy setup as you do not have to attach any accessory parts. The hot-swap battery system allows continuous operation without any downtime for battery charging.
